Two Rivers Gallery is a unique nonprofit, fine art gallery located in beautiful downtown Big Timber, Montana. The proceeds collected from the sale of artwork within the gallery are used to promote local artists, sponsor workshops by local and outside artists, and promote Big Timber as an art community.
The purpose of the Two Rivers Gallery, a public benefit, non-profit organization in the State of Montana is to: operate an art gallery for showcasing, exhibiting and selling fine art; to build a strong, supportive, interactive community of local and regional visual artists and their supporters whose activities include staging art shows and related events; conduct educational classes and workshops and promote visual art as a vitally important part of Montana life and culture; to promote professional and educational development for artists and art education for the community; and to cooperate and combine with any and all agencies and organizations, public and private, which seek to further the goals of the Two Rivers Gallery

The Library is funded by the City of Big Timber and Sweet Grass County, Montana. It serves a countywide population of 3650. An agency of the City of Big Timber, the Library is governed by a five member Board of Trustees, three members are appointed by the Big Timber City Council and two are appointed by the Sweet Grass County Commissioners. Our operating budget this year is $105,566.
Our collection numbers more than 20,000 items, including books, magazines, pamphlets, audio and visual materials, and online resources. Eight public access computer workstations and two Netbooks are available for use free of charge. We also maintain 2 laptop computers for extended research time.
The Carnegie Public Library is a member of the South Central Federation of Montana Libraries and of the Montana Shared Catalog.
